Gender Action is an award program that promotes and encourages a whole nursery approach to challenging stereotypes. It puts gender equality at the heart of policy and practice, and provides progressive recognition to schools/nurseries tackling the causes of gender stereotyping and the effects it has on people. As a nursery we have become a member of this program and will be playing an active role in challenging stereotypes to ensure no limits are placed on children reaching their full potential.
