Gender Action is an award program that promotes and encourages a whole nursery approach to challenging stereotypes. It puts gender equality at the heart of policy and practice, and provides progressive recognition to schools/nurseries tackling the causes of gender stereotyping and the effects it has on people.
As a nursery we have become a member of this program and will be playing an active role in challenging stereotypes to ensure no limits are placed on children reaching their full potential. We will be doing this by carrying out project-related activities across the nursery.
