Our Outstanding East Finchley nursery is hiring a passionate, fun and kind Early Years Practitioner to work in our Tweenie room.

Our Tweenies are super special. The children in this room usually move up from our baby room at around 16 months old and we only have a limited time with them (usually around 6 months) before they transition up to our Toddler room. So, we have to make sure we enjoy every moment with them. We care for up to 15 children in Tweenies and have a lovely well-equipped room including a Tweenie sized slide and climbing wall. A typical day involves breakfast, circle time, lots of messy and tactile play, garden time, rolling snacks then lunchtime before starting a similar range of afternoon activities before getting the children ready to go home. Some of Tweenies favourite activities are music, singing, dancing, play doh – mark making (especially in places they aren’t supposed to) and pushing their physical boundaries through gross motor activities. We take the Tweenies outside every day and once per week the Tweenies eat their lunch outside before settling down for their afternoon nap wrapped up snug and warm in their sleeping bags in our outdoor forest school den. Our Tweenies love new experiences especially the lovely activity providers we have that come in to do Yoga and music, not to forget the seasonal celebrations and trip to the cinema for our private viewing. If you think that you can give our Tweenies the patience, care and development opportunities they deserve then apply today.
